Liverpool boosted as Egypt agree to leave Mohamed Salah out of friendlies

* FA perform U-turn with forward set to remain with Liverpool
* Salah has struggled with setbacks since injury during Afcon




Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has been left out of the Egypt squad for a forthcoming friendly tournament during the international break towards the end of March.

The 31-year-old left the Africa Cup of Nations early when he picked up a hamstring injury on January 18 against Ghana and suffered another injury during a substitute appearance against Brentford on his return. Continue reading...
