This idea has often been lost on PSG. Perhaps until now, that is. The lack of such an identity has been PSG’s biggest obstacle during the Qatari era. In truth though, QSI (Qatar Sports Investments) would have been playing catch-up from the start even if they had managed the situation perfectly. PSG are not France’s biggest club historically speaking, having only formed by a merger in 1970. Neither were they the most successful.
